Collectively, these hires will address natural resource management, agricultural competitiveness, and resilience through engagement with stakeholders as they balance human outcomes and ecosystem services in managed landscapes. Open positions include: 1. Landscape Biogeochemistry. Expertise in the function, management, ecosystem services, and consequences of nutrient cycles in managed or human-impacted landscapes. Integrated physical, chemical, and biological process dynamics. Expertise may include coupling biogeochemical cycles to human activities and natural infrastructure, disturbance response and recovery, and/or intentional manipulation of biogeochemical systems (e.g., root zone engineering).
