Precipitation redo for July 2021 - January 2022

Yesterday we were alerted to an issue with the way precipitation was being modeled, starting in July 2021 and extending to January 2022. The issue occurred primarily in the western US, but the central and eastern US may have also been affected, albeit less so. In response, we have re modeled daily and monthly precipitation over this time period and have updated the online files and graphics. Note that the monthly update for February, due to be completed mid-month, will update all grids back through August 2021, so you can simply wait for that to take place and download the updated grids as usual. However, July 2021 falls outside of our 6-month update window, so all users needing precipitation data for July 2021 should re-download daily and/or monthly precipitation for that month as soon as possible.
