Below is important information on PRISM data updates and alerts. It recently came to our attention that a rounding issue produced very small negative numbers instead of zeros in a few daily normals grid cells for ppt and vpdmin in our 800-m and 4-km grids. All days of the year were affected for vpdmin, and June 1 - Sep 1 were affected for ppt. We set these negative values to zero, replaced the 800-m and 4-km daily normals grids, and updated the metadata file creation dates. Given the small changes involved, the version number of the daily normals files was not changed. Best wishes, PRISM Climate Group
