Seeking an EHS Engineering II. The EHS Engineering II role holds critical responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of all employees through impactful decision-making. This position requires expertise in analyzing and interpreting a range of rules, regulations, laws, and codes affecting the organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety systems. By applying this knowledge, the EHS Engineer will evaluate existing and proposed processes, practices, and systems to recommend alternative approaches that minimize mandated requirements while achieving process objectives effectively. Job Details: * Plan, control, and execute environmental programs in conformance with Siltronic policy, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards, applicable laws, regulations and standards, documented engineering standards and applicable plant standards. * Develop, review and update procedures and guidelines. Assist with procedures and the applicable documentation systems to assure they remain consistent with international quality and EHS standards. * Develop, review and update databases, spreadsheets and charts and information to evaluate and ensure compliance with OSHA, EMS, ISO 14001, and 45001 Standards, applicable laws, regulations and standards consistent with company goals. * Prepare and review reports and compliance records as established Siltronic requirements, international EHS requirements, and quality. * Complete required recordkeeping, filling, documentation, and corrective actions required for internal and external audits like ISO 14001 and 45001. * Evaluate and document compliance performance and capability using regular audits of procedures and records. Prioritize corrective actions necessary to minimize impact to the environment, workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems. * Assist Engineers in conducting Job Hazard Analysis and risk assessments. * Monitor and control compliance schedules and performance to ensure all periodic testing, data review and reports are prepared on time. * Determine and audit quality control standards for data collection, analytical procedures, and documentation. * Participate in Environmental Audits, Compliance Inspections, Internal and External Quality Audits as a representative of the company. * Develop and deliver awareness training to applicable groups to reduce environmental impact and improve employee safety. * Actively access and participate in engineering and maintenance changes and continuous improvement activities. * Track regulatory trends and evaluate new and proposed regulations for application to company activities. * Develop task lists and scope of work to implement projects and programs. * Use project management skills to organize and facilitate the efforts of project teams. * Prepare and provide regular project reports and forecasts of capability to meet existing regulations. * Responsible for understanding the hazards in the workplace, including hazardous waste handling and awareness. Required to remain up to date on applicable trainings. * Analyze problems and provide recommended solutions consistent with Siltronic EHS goals and objectives. Review Incident investigation reports and provide and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action development. Position Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health &Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent, or actively pursuing a degree with 2-5 years of experience.
