We’re recruiting a Radiation Health Physicist I for the X-ray program at the Washington State Department of Health Office of Radiation Protection. It’d be a great foot in the door for an early career Health Physicist to the regulatory side of the field. We regulate X-ray devices including diagnostic, therapeutic, veterinary, industrial, security and fusion devices in Washington State, and work with the emergency response group to respond to prepare for and respond to radiological emergencies. A number of former OSU radiation health physics have worked here (including myself!).
