The Colleges of Engineering and Liberal Arts are pleased to co-offer HEST/ANTH 201, "Innovation for Social Impact" this Winter term. This project-based course will provide a fun and engaging opportunity for students interested in “making a difference” to identify their unique skills and passions and learn how to apply them to a specific problem in a community of their choosing. By stepping through the design process with a specific focus on user needs and impacts, innovation becomes both more tangible and more effective. With support from instructors in engineering, anthropology, and entrepreneurship, lectures and activities will lead students along the path to sustainable and effective inventions. Please forward this to any students or lists who may be interested, and feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks and have a great weekend all! ~Nordica Nordica A.
