
Hi GCAP Members, A few quick updates related to our Center and our NGS Geospatial Modeling Grant: 1. Colin Becker at NGS passed on that each of our 8 tasks will be assigned an NGS Subject Matter Expert (SME), who will meet with the task team periodically. 2. I'm not sure when the SMEs will be assigned, but we should schedule an internal GCAP kickoff meeting ahead of time to discuss task team assignments and next steps. Please note that this is different from the Google Drive we used in writing the proposal, as I think it's important to have a dedicated Drive to organize our work on the grant. There is not much content on the Drive at the moment, but my first step was to create a general organizational structure for the drive, including folders for Tasks (including a subfolder for each Task), Project Administration, and Reporting.
