Hi GCAP, First, a warm welcome our new GCAP Project Manager, Jenna Borberg! Jenna - we are so glad to have you on the team and look forward to working with you! As another quick update, the designated NGS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for each of our 8 tasks may be announced this week. I would strongly encourage all Task Leads (Brian, Charles and DJ, Chase, Jihye, and Caixia) to meet with your Task Team NLT next Wed, Nov 15 to get organized before meeting with the NGS SME. In the meeting, I recommend that each Task Team draft an action plan for the year to then present to and discuss with the SME. The SME may suggest modifications, but it is up to the teams to develop and implement their plans. The meetings with the SMEs will depend on their schedules, but ideally each Task Team will be able to meet with the SME within 1-2 weeks. The WhenIsGood poll that we completed last week was somewhat inconclusive in identifying meeting times. Therefore, Jenna will be reaching out again regarding scheduling. Please respond, so that we can get these initial meetings set up!
