These transformation parameters are collectively known as Euler Pole Parameters (EPPs), and will be released as a model called EPP2022 once they are tested and approved. The EPPs are estimated preliminary values and available on the NGS Alpha website<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flnks.gd%2…>. The Alpha website is dedicated for early-release products of the modernized National Spatial Reference System (NSRS). Once all of the components of the modernized NSRS are considered final and ready for public testing and feedback, they, including the EPP2022, will be released to the NGS Beta website. The availability of all components of the modernized NSRS on the NGS Beta website is expected mid to late 2025. Hello GCAP Members, Following the UESI Surveying & Geomatics 2024 Conference, NGS will be leading a full-day VDatum Workshop. With the upcoming NSRS modernization and extended coverage for the Pacific regions, the goal of this one-day workshop is to educate and inform the community on the VDatum tool and online service. Presenters from NOAA's National Geodetic Survey (NGS) will provide an overview of the data collection, development, and usage of NOAA's VDatum transformation tool. The workshop will also include: 1) Background on reference systems used in the U.S and its territories, 2) Height relationships between geopotential, geometric and tidal datums, and 3) The VDatum workflow process from an end user perspective. Expected outcomes of this workshop will be insight into the field operations and research that goes into data collection, the use of GIS to help streamline operations and archiving, and a live demonstration on the usage of the tool. National Geodetic Survey Vertical Datum (VDatum) Workshop- June 5th @ OSU

We are pleased to announce that the National Geodetic Survey will be holding a VDatum workshop (see below for details) at OSU to learn more about methods to transform between different vertical datums.
