The research lab is located off-campus, so reliable transportation is required. Must be available to work full time this summer. The Tanguay lab conducts state-of-the-art zebrafish high throughput research and is seeking individuals to help perform routine complex technical specialized tasks. The individual will be responsible for supporting the operations and laboratory work. This is an excellent opportunity to be apart of and conduct innovative research and gain hands-on and practical skills. Upon gaining more research experience in the lab, there is room for advancement to obtain more technical skills. The position requires applicants to have education in a science-related field and be hardworking, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and multi-task. Individuals must be able to work independently and in a team. Previous experience in a research setting is a plus but not required. Individuals at all stages of their higher-education career are encouraged to apply (even those graduating soon).
