Good morning, A reminder that we are still looking for quite a few donations for the upcoming food drive in March. Your support helps us make these events successful! A huge thank you to the Ecological Engineering Student Society, who have already had an event to help support these efforts. Every year OSU is one of many in the state of Oregon who participate in the Oregon Governors Food Drive. Donations from OSU alone provide 20% of the budget to the local Linn Benton Food Share. With the changes in the economy, they need our help now more than ever. BEE has many events lined up for the month and we hope you can help and participate. We are looking for quite a few donations of items including: Peanut Butter Jelly/Jam Art pieces to raffle Flea market items - this could be anything that you think can sell on campus. I have tons of stuff I've been selling the past few flea markets to help build these funds but my stock is starting to get low. WIP sale - this is a work in progress sale. Bring all those art projects you started but never finished. Bring any art supplies you have lying around. Cheese for grilled cheese Tomato soup Kielbasa/Brats/onions/buns (we are doing these for St. Patty's day) Tea Hot chocolate Anything else you can contribute to this event! We've already received a ton of donations and support from the Corvallis community, so please watch your emails during the month of March as we announce these fantastic fundraising opportunities, which include St. Patty's Day fun, PB&J Bar and Flea Market. Finally - faculty, you can do a monthly allotment donation from your pre-taxed paycheck. Just $5 a month provides a total of 360 meals for the community.
