Greetings team, A huge thank you to everyone who participate in this year's Oregon Governor's Food Drive events. We had more donations from local businesses than ever before thanks to the front office staff. New Morning Bakery, Chipotle, Book Bin, Shonnard's, Papa's Pizza and staff/faculty/students of BEE all contributed items to help make these events successful. This year, with your help, BEE was able to raise enough money to buy 10,521 meals for our local community, a record for us, and take 2nd place for our team size- which is pretty darn epic considering we had about half the time to do it in with finals and Spring Break! It comes at a time when the Linn Benton Food Bank needs it to the most as there were stop orders on most of the food they were supposed to receive during the month of April. We are always trying to beat the 6th Floor of Kerr, which we didn't do this year but we're gonna try again next year! I think it is fantastic that they have upped their donations to a point that make it hard for us to beat them as it's a win all around!
