The Luckiamute Watershed Council (LWC) is currently hiring a full-time Monitoring Coordinator based in Independence, Oregon and we’d love your help sharing the opportunity! This position will manage monitoring activities for LWC (75%) and also work as a
contractor for Marys River Watershed Council (25%) through a shared service agreement.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in environmental monitoring and project coordination. Responsibilities include overseeing temperature monitoring programs, collecting environmental data, coordinating volunteers, and supporting
data analysis and reporting. This position also offers a strong benefits package, opportunities to engage in grant writing, and cross-council collaboration.
Location: Independence, OR (with travel to Corvallis and throughout both watersheds)
Compensation: $27/hour + benefits
Priority Deadline: May 11 (position open until filled)
Start Date: Targeting early to mid-June
