Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Marys River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following
the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon (https://www.grandronde.org)
and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians (http://ctsi.nsn.us).

Subject: $3,000 scholarship for students with international focus or career goals open now - CLOSES NOV. 1
Dear Advisors,
The
Oregon Consular Corps (OCC) Scholarship Fund provides two $3,000 scholarships for OSU students who have an international focus. The scholarship application is currently
open
in ScholarDollars and closes on November 1st, 2024.
Any student who can articulate the international dimensions of their major and/or their international career goals after graduation can apply.
Please think of students in courses with an international or global focus and students in global/international minors or certificate programs and share this scholarship opportunity
with them.
Students must have 3rd or 4th year class standing (90+ quarter credit hours), be studying full time in 2024-25, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
