Hi everyone,

The Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) is currently accepting applications to participate in its 31^st program year which runs from October 1, 2024 – August 14, 2025. WSP is a special program within the California Conservation Corps in partnership with AmeriCorps. We host two WSP Corpsmembers in the Planning Division each year where they work primarily with the Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program (SWAMP). WSP is a great entry level, career-building opportunity – just ask one of the many WSP alum working at our office. Please pass on this opportunity to anyone who may be interested. WSP is dedicated to improving watershed health by actively engaging in restoration science, civic service, and community education while empowering the next generation of environmental stewards. Benefits include a monthly living stipend, program sponsored-medical insurance, and a generous education award. A college degree is not required for this program. Corpsmembers placed at the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board work on a variety of field and office-based projects.
