Branch Experiment Stations Research Internship Program

Get paid to work with researchers across Oregon!

The Branch Experiment Stations Research Internship Program provides $5000 to undergraduate students to conduct a semi-independent research project at an OSU Branch Experiment Station. Successful applicants are expected to spend between 10-13 weeks at the station. Most opportunities occur during summer term; however, some occur during fall/winter/spring.

Students apply and may select up to two project they are interested in. Applications will include a resumecover letter outlining their research interests, and unofficial transcript.

NOTE: It is highly recommended that students contact research faculty for projects they are interested in to set up a time to connect and learn more about the project (see guide to writing emails to faculty here).

If you have any questions, please send me an email. You can also schedule an appointment with me using the link in my email signature.

Best,

Rachel

OSU Land Acknowledgement

Oregon State University in Corvallis is located within the traditional homelands of the Marys River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855, Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians. Indigenous people are valued, contributing members of the Oregon State community and represent multiple sovereign tribes among students, faculty, staff and alumni.
