Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Marys River or Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly
removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon (https://www.grandronde.org)
and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians (http://ctsi.nsn.us).

Importance: High
Hi all,
Please share with BEE students and faculty.
You are invited to join us for a special DEI Workshop the first week of Winter term. It's a chance to hear Sahid Rosado Lausell’s departing lecture that will explore
engineering ethics and the importance of diversity. As many of you know she will be moving back to Puerto Rico and will be missed.
I think it’s really important to have a good showing from the group – and please invite your friends.
Tuesday, Jan. 9th, 5:15pm-7:15pm, KEAR
112 [UPDATED]
PLEASE REGISTER BY MONDAY AFTERNOON – So there is enough food!!
