Good morning, This is your annual email as we have seen a large increase this year of scooters and bikes in Gilmore Hall and other spaces around campus. I wanted to send a quick reminder that bikes, scooters and skateboards are not allowed in classrooms, conference rooms, students lounges, or other public spaces. "Bicycles parked at bicycle racks at or near academic or research buildings longer than five (5) days will be considered abandoned and may be impounded." - paragraph 5.10.7, standard 07-025. "Bicycles users may be cited for: (e) Being parked in buildings except in designated bicycle rooms." - paragraph 5.10.8, standard 07-025. Gilmore Hall has parking for bikes/scooters/skateboards in several spots around the building. We do not have a designated bike room indoors although faculty can park them in their offices, which are not public spaces. Thank you for your understanding and help!
