You're invited to the 2025 Pacific Northwest Water Research Symposium!

Pacific Northwest Water Research Symposium will take place April 23–24, 2025 at Oregon State University’s Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx). This year’s theme is Reimagining Water Through Art and Science, highlighting creative and interdisciplinary approaches to water research.

This free two-day event features:

• Keynote speakers Dr. Malena Orduña Alegría and Dr. Renée Brooks
• A special musical performance by NO-NO Boy featuring Empire Electric (April 23, 5:15–6:15 pm, Edward J. Ray Theater)

• Student research presentations and poster sessions
• Interactive workshops, including:
• Scientific Illustration Workshop led by Emy Daniels (April 23, 1:10–2:10 pm)
• 
• Cyanotype Printing Workshop hosted by the OSU Seminarium Club (April 24, 2:30–3:45 pm — bring leaves, lace, or stencils to experiment!)
• 
• A student art and science panel, and an evening social

This is a great opportunity for students, researchers, faculty, and community members to share ideas, network, and explore innovative water-related work.
