The Critical Zone Network Research Experience for Undergraduates (CZNet REU) is currently accepting applications. This REU places pairs of undergraduates students at one of 5 CZ Network research sites distributed in diverse geographic settings across the continental US. Student training includes: (1) Developing research knowledge and skills, as well as interest in Critical Zone (CZ) science, (2) Learning to do interdisciplinary and collaborative science in a network and (3) Connecting CZ science to society. Financial package includes: $6,000 stipend, travel subsidy, and housing/meals subsidy, travel to and from kick-off meeting, research funds to support project.
