College of Agricultural Sciences and College of Forestry Leadership Academy, 2024-2025

Applications are due by 11:59pm on Friday, April 5th, 2023.

All majors in CAS and CoF (CH and MB are in CoS/CAS) are encouraged to apply - our content isn't tailored to any specific major-we leave it up to you to take what you learn and apply it to your department. We are focused on delivering you leadership education that you can apply to your individual program.

The Leadership Academy consists of:

-A weekly seminar for the academic year (F'24, W'25, S'25) that meets Wednesdays from 4-5:50pm

-Seminars consist of self-assessments, workshops, guest speakers, panel speakers, book discussions, and networking

-Faculty mentor pairing for the entire year

-Opportunities to engage with alumni, industry, field, agency, and employer partners

-Transcript visible leadership education course

-Over $14,000 available in funds to students to further YOUR leadership goals

-LEAD stole to wear at graduation

To qualify:

-At least sophomore standing by Fall 2024

-On campus undergraduate at the Corvallis campus

-No minimum GPA needed

-No previous leadership experience needed

-Any major in College of Agricultural Sciences or College of Forestry, or Chemistry or Microbiology
