Food has the power to heal us, to connect us, to make us stronger. Food solves hunger today by filling plates with nutritious meals. This year the need is greater than ever and, with your help, we can fight
hunger! The annual OSU Food Drive starts on March 1!
A simple way to make a BIG impact is to set up a recurring payroll deduction. Last year, OSU employees contributed
$97,000 to the Linn Benton Food Share through payroll deductions. The university has been challenged to surpass that number this year. If you want to participate, getting signed up is easy, just
complete this form.
The rising cost of food and housing has increased food insecurity in Oregon, Southwest Washington and across the country. Last year, the Oregon Food Bank Network saw 1.9 million visits to food assistance sites
– a 14% increase from the previous year. Food insecurity disproportionately affects specific communities in Oregon, regardless of geography. Today,
1 in 8 people face hunger in rural, urban, and suburban communities throughout the state. We are in an ongoing hunger crisis, and it is not slowing down.
Thank you for your efforts to help feed our neighbors!
