I am pleased to announce that applications for the NSF REU Site on āEngineering for Bouncing Back Betterā hosted by Oregon State University are now being solicited. The website and application forms are live and ready to receive undergraduate
applicants interested in interdisciplinary research on the topic of building resilient communities.

Please note the following important dates:

REU Program will run from June 16 to August 22, 2025. Students have to be able to attend the entire period.
ā¢
Application deadline: February 24, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
ā¢
Non-Oregon State students (Undergraduate students not enrolled at Oregon State University)
ā¢
GPA of 3.0 or above
ā¢
Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
ā¢
Must have at least one quarter or semester remaining to graduate after the program
ā¢
Students from underrepresented communities, community colleges, and institutions with limited research opportunities are highly encouraged to apply
