Virtual EECS Networking Night

Dear EECS Students, For the first time, video from each of the EECS Networking Night company sessions is now available. Visit the virtual booths<http://register.eecs.oregonstate.edu/feb_netnight/views/about_companies.php> for the companies that interest you, then click on "previous recording" to see a clip from a company session. Many of the hiring managers and recruiters share information about their company, ways to contact them and how to apply for opportunities. Most have deadlines for applications that are coming up soon. Some suggestions for you: * After viewing the videos, follow up with the industry representatives on LinkedIn, thanking them for their presentation. If you applied for an opening, mention which position you applied for. * Never ask a recruiter to find you a job - that's not their job. * Keep in mind, it may be a few months before you hear back from a company. * Should you be selected for a phone screen or an interview, come prepared. If you cannot make your appointment, ask to reschedule. Never "ghost" an employer. If you have questions about your resume, applying for work, or how to prepare, you may want to contact the College of Engineering Career Development Center<https://career.oregonstate.edu/engineering>.
