We like to keep you informed of what lies ahead and do our best not to overload you with messages. However, if you have not heard from us in a while, sometimes our messages will end up in your junk folders. Please check there so you are not missing any deadlines or changes.

We have listed some important deadlines for the Fall term. You can find an entire list of deadlines by accessing the online Academic Calendar. All submission deadlines are due by 11:55pm, Pacific Time, unless otherwise noted. Pro tip: Add these dates to your calendar!

  • International Students need to start the process 3-4 days prior to this date.

  1. Considering whether to Drop a course or Withdraw from the Term?
  2. Are you graduating this term? Congrats! You do not have to apply for graduation anymore, but please check in with your primary advisor and be on the lookout for any emails from the Graduation team. 
  3. Have you checked in with your primary advisor? If you need assistance with your schedule or planning, please schedule an appointment.
  4. Prepare for classes. Please read over your course syllabi and ensure you have all the technology required for the program.

  6. International students: If you would like to drop your course load to less than 12 credits, there is an Alternative Enrollment option available. Please contact your primary advisor for more information. If you have Visa questions, please contact OIS or email ois.student@oregonstate.edu
