Dear students,

Welcome to fall term! It is great to have you back in class, and getting our year off to an excellent start.

An upcoming event that I’d like to call your attention to is “Coffee with EECS” – this is your chance to ask questions, and share suggestions and concerns with me and other members of the School of EECS leadership team. It is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5 from 9 – 11 am. It will be held in KEC 1005 and is also accessible from this Zoom link. I hope to see you there!

I also hope you’re considering or already take advantage of the many extracurricular activities offered in the school and the College of Engineering. These include Networking Nights, Webinar Wednesdays, student clubs, and more. Watch for Tina Batten’s emails and visit the EECS Portal. These experiences can be very valuable to your career success, as well as being entertaining and fun.

I hope you have a great 2022-2023 academic year. Go Beavs!
