HackOR is a 48 hour virtual hackathon where programmers of all experience levels and backgrounds gather to collaborate on a project with the goal of bringing hackathons to more students. 

 

SEMI Professional Development College Program – Virtual webinar 

Register by March 26 | Event: March 29 @ noon-3 pm PST 

Learn about career opportunities in the semiconductor manufacturing sector from industry volunteers. Sessions include developing a career plan, the interview process, how to make your resume stand out, and the career search. A ”Day in the Life Career Sessions” include roles like being a Customer Support Engineer/Manager, Semiconductor Process Engineer and Software Engineer.  

 

Job Shadow Program – Virtual

Explore an industry, organization or specific position during a full or half-day experience. Follow your host(s) through their daily activities and learn what it’s like to work in that field. This a free and unpaid experience. 

MECOP - Multiple Engineering Cooperative Program

MECOP is focused on providing students training and development through paid internships. To be considered, you must apply by April 5. Be sure to also make an appointment with your advisor.
