Hello,
Summer Term Registration begins Monday, April 15th.
Below are some reminders about Summer Term.
-
PIN: Summer term does not require a registration PIN. However, we recommend you check in with your primary advisor in advance of classes starting to ensure you are able to get into the courses you want to take. You can find more information regarding
registration in Beaver Hub or
here.
-
Most ECE and CS classes are offered in Session 3, as shown in the
Academic Calendar. Summer term Session 3 begins
on June 24th and ends on August 16th.
-
Summer Session 3 is only 8 weeks long (including finals) as opposed to the normal 11 week term for Fall, Winter, and Spring. As a result, the courses can be more rigorous, as you are learning the same content, just in a shorter amount of time. We recommend
that you consider taking less courses than usual or a course load that you feel will be less challenging for you.
-
Registering for non-primary campus classes? There are restrictions applied, especially on Ecampus classes, as they are reserved for Ecampus students in our program. The Ecampus restrictions will be in place until further notice. Please still submit
EECS
Override Request Form if you run into any registration issues or talk to your advisor.
-
Students that plan on utilizing financial aid or federal loans for Summer 2024 term
courses will need to complete a 2023-2024 FAFSA
application; more information can be found on the
Financial Aid and Tuition Summer Session webpage.
-
International students who would like to take less than 12 credits or have questions regarding student visa status need to contact the
Office of International Services.
-
If you have any questions about your summer term academic plan, please reach out to your
primary advisor or come to our
Drop-in hours.
Let us know if you have any questions!
Sincerely,
