June 16 | Celebration Event starts @ 3 pm | Graduates check in @ 2 pm   

Students who have graduated or will graduate Summer 2022, Fall 2022, Winter 2023, Spring 2023, or Summer 2023 can participate. Students are encouraged to attend the School Celebration on June 16 and the University Commencement Ceremony on June 17. Diplomas are only awarded at the university ceremony on June 17. This is a cap and gown event.

Summer Slow Jams 2023! Each summer, game makers get together to make projects with friends and community members in just over a week, and you can too! Summer Slow Jams is a collection of game making events happening once a month every summer, providing structure and networking opportunities for creatives in Portland and remote participants. Join us this summer at PIGSquad events for team forming, theme reveals, brainstorming, workshops, coworking, jamming, showcasing, and more!

Free & Confidential Mental Health & Wellness with MySSP

Counseling and Psychological Services is partnering with MySSP to expand services to students. Through the Anytime Anywhere program, students now have access to free and confidential mental health and wellness counseling at any time of day, from anywhere in the world, 365 days a year.  

 

Food Pantry Prep & Dinner: This term, come by the OSU Basic Needs Center (BNC) on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm to pitch in for food pantry prep, then cook and eat dinner together! Tasks typically include repacking rice and building produce bags, and help with cooking is also welcome. The BNC is located in Champinefu Lodge at 1030 SW Madison Ave.  Check out @bncatosu on Instagram.

 

CompTIA survey finds Oregon tech workers earn 115% more than median state wages 

Across the state, 139,350 workers are employed in tech either at tech companies or at a non-tech company in a tech role. The median tech wage for the state is $97,171, which is 115% higher than the median state wage, according to the report. That number bumps higher for the Portland metro.

FBI BAU Visiting Scientist Program: Designed for recent graduates with a MS or PhD wanting experience in government research. Work in a high security government facility and provides an opportunity to perform research in behavioral science areas that are of interest to law enforcement and national security. This paid, fulltime fellowship is annually renewed for up to five years.
