Register in advance and upload your resume for a chance to get employers interested in you. Are you wanting to take an ECE or CS class, but aren't sure if it's the right class for you? Come talk with the members of the Eta Kappa Nu Pi chapter! Eta Kappa Nu is an honors society for electrical and computer engineering students through IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Our members have taken a wide variety of the courses, and want to share their experience.

+ Product Design Contest | Register: https://bit.ly/product-design-2022 

This is a weeklong competition in collaboration with InnovationX. Work in teams to ideate a product that tackles a problem in one of three categories: Sustainability, Health, Joy of Living and Security. At the end, create a pitch deck and pitch your products for monetary prizes! First prize = $500; Second prize = $300; Third prize = $200. Each prize is distributed evenly among the team. 

  

When registering, indicate if you would like to register with a team or be assigned to a team. (Teams are encouraged but not mandatory.) InnovationX will have studio hours throughout the week to help you with your pitch decks and pitches. Your pitch deck (no more than 20 slides) should explains the product, target audience, plans to generate revenue, and how it solves a pressing problem that falls under one of the three subcategories.

Undergraduate CS/Math Research Contractor 

Qualified assistance needed for update of the Laboratory for Robotics and Applied Mechanics’ robotics research codebase. Some original design assumptions are no longer valid, requiring new platform architecture and mathematical generalizations. This position will involve collaboration with a current graduate student, improving contractor understanding and ensuring future platform use. 

Required Skills / Courses: 

 - Linear Algebra

 - MATLAB (previous experience desired, but not absolutely necessary; in this case, student is expected to learn on the job) 

Involved mathematics:
