Dear students, faculty, and staff:

 

I’m deeply saddened to share that a member of the EECS community, David Zager, passed away on Tuesday, January 16. We mourn this devastating loss and share our deepest condolences and support with his friends, family and loved ones. In honoring the family’s wishes, details regarding David’s passing have been limited to family, close friends and loved ones. We recognize this news may be very difficult to receive. We are here for you.

 

There will be community gatherings to connect with others who are grieving this loss that you are welcome to attend. These community gatherings will be hosted by staff from Counseling & Psychological Services or OSU Assist. This space will be an informal opportunity to remember, grieve, and support one another during this difficult time:

 

 

We recognize the loss of an OSU community member is incredibly challenging. We also acknowledge that you may be grieving over other difficulties over the past year. In the days ahead, we will reach out to those who have been impacted by this news to connect them with resources for healing and support.
