Be responsible for leading scientific research enabling manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures. Responsibilities: 1) Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals, and milestones for a new technology process. 2) Define and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module. 3) Select and develop material and equipment for the process to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity, and manufacturability requirements. 4) Plan and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle. 5) Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel. 6) Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools. 7) Establish process control systems for the process module and sustains the module through volume ramp. 8) Develop strategy to resolve difficult problems and establishes systems to deal with these problems in the future. 9) Train production/receiving process engineers for transfer to other factories. 10) Transfer process to high volume manufacturing and provide support in new factory startup as well as install and qualification of the new production lines.

This position would be in-person, but some flexibility and remote work may be available after a learning period is completed and independent work is demonstrated. Hours can be flexible. Successful candidates may be invited to continue working after the internship. 

Job Duties: 1) Help develop a VB.net windows application by working on all levels of the project (front end, back end, and database); 2) Communicate frequently with a full-time engineer; 3) Write documentation as changes are made to the software; 4)  Test and troubleshoot changes to the software. Skills Required: 1) T-SQL; 2) VB.net or similar language; 3) Technical writing 4) Web development (nice to have)
