Greetings EECS Students, The EECS Student Experience Storycorps Archive Project (SESAP) is seeking students who would be willing to spend 30 min of their time to tell the story of their experience in the EECS program at OSU. We are specifically looking for students who identify themselves as belonging to historically underserved communities in engineering education on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, first-generation status, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability. To participate in this study, you will either a)be recorded responding to a few interview prompts about your experience or b)choose to submit your response in writing. Hello EECS students! The School of EECS is once again offering scholarships for students to travel to conferences in 2023! We hope to support between 7-15 students to attend each conference this year by providing funds for conference registration, travel & lodging. Scholarship amounts will vary with travel prices. This year we are supporting students to travel to one of two different conferences: 1. Grace Hopper Conference - September 26-29 in Orlando, FL 2. Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Conference - November 1-5 in Salt Lake City, UT Eligibility/Requirements: Any EECS student student who will be enrolled at least part-time in the Fall 2023 quarter is eligible to apply. Recipients must agree to participate in pre-conference events/sessions to prepare for the conference and prepare material to summarize your experiences after the conference. Summer 2023 EECS Undergraduate Research Scholarship Application Now Open

Are you interested in research and earning money while working with a professor in the School of EECS during Summer 2023? For the past three years undergraduates have participated in the EECS Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) cohort, run by the Undergraduate Research Committee. The EECS REU is a great opportunity to conduct state of the art research, build professional resume, gain presentation skills, learn about career paths, meet other EECS students, and get the most out of summer research projects. This year, we are expanding this cohort to include multiple EECS-funded students who will be advised by EECS faculty. Each selected student will receive $6,000 for a 10-week period, during which they will conduct research with an EECS faculty member and participate in the cohort. Qualification: An undergraduate student actively enrolled in one of the EECS majors at OSU, and not graduating before the end of Summer 2023. Commitment of 10 weeks of full-time research and REU cohort activities in Summer 2023. How to apply: 1.
