HPC mentorship opportunity at SC25

Cluster users, Please see HPC mentorship opportunity below at the Supercomputing 25 conference: ================================================================================================ High performance computing (HPC) professional staff from University of Oregon and Portland State University are available to advise a group of students for a virtual HPC mentorship opportunity called IndySCC available through the Supercomputing 25 conference, culminating in a 48 hour virtual HPC competition November 17-19, 2025, during SC25: https://sc25.supercomputing.org/students/indyscc/<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Furldefens…> In the months leading up to the conference, teams compete remotely using provided hardware in an education-focused experience supported by HPC experts. A 48-hour contest held concurrently with SC is the culmination of experience and knowledge gained by the teams in the preceding months. Teams will be given access to National Science Foundation Jetstream2 cloud computing resources for the duration of the competition. A proposal must be submitted by the team in collaboration with the advisers by May 16, 2025, so we would need to know very soon if any students are interested. Please share with any students who might be interested and have them email the advisers as soon as possible expressing their interest.
