Seran Bioscience Scientist/Engineering 1 position in Bend, Oregon

Serán seeks to hire an entry-level Scientist or Engineer to contribute to pharmaceutical R&D projects in the general area of drug delivery formulation and manufacturing processes. Candidates should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, biological engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science and engineering, or physics. Demonstrated research experience is desirable. Candidates with additional relevant experience are also invited to apply. The successful candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team to develop innovative technical capabilities for the company and support the deployment of these capabilities on programs for Serán's clients. The role will require both strong hands-on laboratory skills and the ability to apply fundamental scientific principles to define and solve open-ended problems. Data analysis and technical communication are also important components of the desired skill set.
