The Entry Design & Product Engineer (MEMS Design) uses established procedures to perform a variety of engineering work related to development of special, custom, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) based components. This position understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures, and works on projects and tasks to determine and optimize the performance of MEMS components. This role has a fundamental understanding of equipment requirements along with business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions and participates in all phases of product development life-cycle, including concept and prototype analysis, design, production launch, sustaining production, and end-of-life support of designed equipment, as well as the support of complementary engineering staff for application configuration and startup support.
