April 13th 8:00am-9:00am Silicone elastomers have the necessary set of properties above all other elastomeric materials. The dedicated LSR materials for these applications are self-lubricating in nature, which enables the assembly of the electrical contacts attached to the cables. The presentation will focus on Silopren LSR 3366/50 technology, an innovative development spawned by the ever increasing application demand requirements set forth by higher service temperatures and long-term compression set requirements. About our presenter: Lauren Wallace is currently an Application Development Engineer at Momentive Performance Materials located in Garrett, Indiana. She received her degree in Chemical Engineering at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.
