Inpria Corporation, a JSR company, has immediate openings for entry-level, part-time Chemical Manufacturing Operators based in Corvallis, OR. You will join our diverse team of talent and contribute to our Operations team by supporting processes on weekday evenings and on weekends. Operator 1 Primary Responsibilities: * The work will take place in different labs and cleanrooms, each having specific gowning and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements * Must be safety minded and wear company-provided PPE * Work includes performing activities using a glovebox (training will be provided) and requires handling small objects with thick gloves * Part-time work will include flexibility to work 10-30 hours per week (Weekday-Swing and Weekend-Day shifts available) Tasks will include: o Perform chemical mixing tests, following documented procedures, write-up and report observations in template o Perform canister cleaning and sample collection o Collect samples from glovebox and cabinets and prepare for shipments o Relabel bottles in preparation for shipment, as directed by supervisor o Manage waste (emptying bottles, recycling cardboard, garbage collection, and general housekeeping in lab areas) o Pour 1-gallon containers into smaller sample bottles inside a glovebox o Replace empty gas cylinders o Perform weekly inventory counts o Perform weekly eyewash station inspection and EHS waste collection o Document completed work each shift Operator Key Qualifications: * Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time * Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to table height * Ability to move full 55-gallon drums with appropriate equipment * Completion of at least 1 year college-level Chemistry (completion of Organic Chemistry / Lab preferred) * Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel * Demonstration of active and effective communication skills, verbal and written * Well organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * High school diploma (or equivalent) COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Consistent with our duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of recognized hazards, Inpria Corporation requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to safeguard the health and wellbeing of its employees, their families, and community.
