You will * Learn how scientists perform research in quantum computing and/or quantum sensing using experimental, theoretical and computational tools. * Meet Livermore scientists who do active work related to quantum information science. * Gather and analyze data or information relevant to your assigned research area as directed by supervisor and/or mentor to advance your education. * Gain hands-on experience in your assigned research area by using various simulation, data analysis or experimental techniques under close supervision. * Present your work through presentations and/or poster sessions. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Must be a continuing student in good standing at an accredited institution pursuing an undergraduate degree in Physics, Engineering or related field. * Ability to apply basic physics principles to solve technical problems. * Demonstrated effective communication skills. * Ability to present and communicate concepts and ideas. * Experience working with personal computers and familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Ability to work in a team environment.
