Summer Habitat Restoration Internship

July 10 – August 31, 2023

 

Summary: Elderberry Wisdom Farm has an opening for a Summer Habitat Restoration Intern. The project includes planning and preparation for our fall Habitat Restoration Internship, working with volunteers, plus farm maintenance activities at our two-acre farm near Salem, OR. In addition to the opportunity for experiential service learning into conservation, habitat restoration, soil regeneration, transitioning to organic, Native plant medicines, microenterprise development, and other topics, the intern will also be able to add a valuable record of employment and experience to their resume.

 

The Summer Habitat Restoration Intern will assist Elderberry Wisdom Farm staff to accomplish its Native Agriculture Biodiversity Accelerator. This includes the following:
