Emma Wolcott - major: biomedical engineering, research area: studying the transition of benign pancreatic lesions to pancreatic cancer using organoid and mouse models Michael Henderson - major: biomedical engineering, research area: Finding innovative anti-cancer treatment approaches using activatable proteins and nanomaterials. Jason Ware - major: biomedical engineering, research area: liquid biopsy technology development, using microfabrication to make electrodes capable of electrokinetic isolation of cancer biomarkers and then analyzing the collected markers electrochemically. The goal is a fast, cost effective, and automated extracellular vesicle analysis platform. Delaney Shea - major: biomedical engineering, research area: engineering probiotic bacteria into mini biofactories to fight diseases in the body Iman Adem - major: biomedical engineering, research area: working on delivering immunotherapy drug using peptides Will Greer - major: biomedical engineering, research area: biomolecular interactions of fluorescent molecules for applications in surgery and neuroscience.
