Virtual Biotech Bootcamp A KECK Graduate Institute (KGI) +Oregon State University Collaboration Via Zoom

California is the hub of one of the most exciting and rapidly growing industries: Biotechnology.  KGI offers a number of innovative programs that integrate life sciences, pharmacy, genetics, engineering, and business with a focus on industry projects, internships, and team collaborations. Exposure to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries is woven throughout all of our programs, giving students unique opportunities in research, industry, and healthcare.

Biotech companies in the state are at the forefront of discovering and developing cutting-edge medications, therapies, diagnostics, and medical devices that have the potential to transform healthcare. OSU BMES and STEM students/organizations are invited to participate in an engaging and interactive one hour Biotech Bootcamp hosted by Dr. Steve Casper of Keck Graduate Institute (KGI), a member of the Claremont Colleges.

During this virtual session, you'll dive into the fascinating world of biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry. You'll also participate in a team project, exploring a groundbreaking biotech product invented in California. This event will provide valuable insights into innovative graduate programs focused on biotechnology and highlight the many exciting career pathways in the field.
