I am reaching out to you because the Watermaster District 18 office has an opening for an Assistant Watermaster.

I hope you’ll share this opportunity with your students who may be interested in pursuing a career in water resources or other related field.

The successful candidate will investigate water right complaints, administer Oregon water laws, regulate water distribution, measure stream flows, monitor well water level usage, maintain water related records, and submit reports. We are seeking a candidate who can work independently, is mechanically inclined, possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and enjoys working outdoors.
