Keliomics is a seed-stage biopharma company with a proprietary, ex vivo human tissue platform. Our inaugural therapeutic areas are breast cancer, melanoma, and metabolic diseases.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative lab technician to 1) assist our scientists with day-to-day biological experiments and 2) maintain the lab. Biological work will include human cell culture including the expansion and passaging of mesenchymal stem cells
and cancer cell lines, derivation of stem cell lines from human biospecimens, mycoplasma testing, and assisting with ELISA, Western blots, and fluorescent imaging. Lab maintenance work will include ordering reagents and supplies, help with tracking and bookkeeping
of reagents and supplies, lab equipment maintenance, and working with hazardous and biohazardous materials (e.g. CO2 tank replacement, liquid nitrogen refill, biohazard waste, coordinating lab coat pick up).
This position requires a minimum of one year’s experience in mammalian cell culture and experience with lab instrumentation, including an ability to troubleshoot issues and efficiently interface with technical subject matter experts towards rapid resolution
of issues. Strong attention to detail and the integrity to report deviations or problems are a must.
