Scientist – Downstream Process Development/Analytics (plasmid DNA)

Who we are:

Novel Biotechnology USA, Inc, located in scenic Vancouver, WA, is a life science technology company on a mission to make cutting-edge genetic medicines more accessible by developing new solutions for manufacturing plasmid DNA - a critical starting material in next-generation therapeutics. We are developing biomanufacturing platforms that are safe, scalable, adaptable to complex DNA payloads, have improved product quality, and are many times more productive than existing systems. We deploy our proprietary technologies in manufacturing services that we offer to a growing base of clients.

The role in a nutshell:

As a Downstream Process Development Scientist, you will have the freedom (and responsibility) to shape the future of our plasmid purification platform and associated analytics. You’ll lead the charge in designing, evaluating, developing, optimizing, and scaling plasmid purification processes (and maybe protein purification processes in the near future). Working in sync with a multi-disciplinary team of strain engineers and fermentation scientists, you will make your mark on our platform’s success and our mission.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:
