The Plant Engineering organization provides engineering oversight, program support, and qualified staff to support the Hanford Tank Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) mission.
Near term support is provided by the Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC). The WTP is one of the world’s largest environmental remediation projects located on the Department of Energy Hanford Site, outside of Richland, WA. The mission includes safely
storing, treating, and immobilizing the highly hazardous radiological wastes created during prior periods of nuclear processing at the Hanford Reservation. This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control and supervision of WTCC.
Plant Engineering hires Summer Interns from many different Engineering disciplines. Work assignments will vary depending upon the discipline. WTCC strives to provide meaningful work
