Come learn about Blue Origin from Oregon State ME graduate Erin Acuna!

 

Blue Origin was founded with a vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. Blue Origin envisions a time when people can tap into the limitless resources of space and enable the movement of damaging industries into space to preserve Earth, humanity’s blue origin.

 

Erin works full time as an Aerodynamics Engineer at Blue Origin, developing the next generation of space transportation vehicles. She also serves as the Chairperson of New Gutierrez, a business resource group formed to support the career development of Hispanic, Latinx, and Latin-Descent community within the company and local community efforts to increase STEM participation from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds.

Erin is an OSU alumni who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. She was the team lead of the 2020-2021 High-Altitude Rocket Team, as well as the local chapter founder of the Society of Women in Space Exploration at the University. Erin works full time as an Aerodynamics Engineer at Blue Origin, developing the next generation of space transportation vehicles. Erin enjoys serving as a mentor to teams and individuals
