Position Description
Internship staff are to support the X-energy design and engineering of the DOE ARDP award winning Xe-100 High Temperature Gas Cooled (HTGC) Small Modular Reactor (SMR) for a period
of 8-10 weeks.

Responsibilities
-
Participate in project team meetings to solve design challenges and discuss engineering solutions

Provide engineering support on a variety of tasks as assigned by the project lead.

Follow through with all tasks and assignments in a timely manner
Education

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. program from an ABET-accredited program with coursework focusing on mechanical or electrical engineering. Must have completed 1+ years of program
study to be eligible for internship.

Written endorsement from a professor must be submitted with an online application.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet the Export Controls requirements of CFR Title 10/Chapter III/Part 810 App A.
