Description -

Biochemistry/Biomedical Engineering Intern HP Inc – San Diego, California

At HP we are exploring the use of our microfluidics technology in healthcare applications.  HP has deep capabilities in fluidics engineering, which allow inkjet printers to dispense billions of drops per second at placement accuracies measured in microns. Our technologies have expanded across a wide range of printing markets with ongoing opportunities for multidisciplinary innovation spanning ink chemistry through product design. Our R&D labs are places where creativity thrives with energy and inspiration to further expand these technologies into new markets and applications.

Our group leverages our extensive knowledge in chemistry and materials science to design ink and media solutions for a variety of markets, enabling us to maintain our competitive position. This internship project will complement this knowledge with an understanding of biochemistry or biomedical engineering and concentrate on developing solutions to support our healthcare efforts. While expected to work independently, the intern will have the guidance of experienced chemists and engineers in our team as well as our extended teams.

The position is in our San Diego, CA facility that includes a bio lab, ink and media formulation labs, as well as other supporting labs with additional analytical capabilities and print testbeds.
